The purpose of this blog is to make recommendations concerning the best alignment for the Southwest Light Rail Transit which will proceed from Eden Prairie to Downtown Minneapolis. Our objective is to inform the process with good data and professional perspective, achieving the best rail transit system with the optimal ridership makeup achieved at a reasonable cost. John DeWitt is a alternate member of the Southwest Light Rail Transit Project Advisory Committee representing the Midtown Community Works Partnership. He is currently a board member of the Midtown Greenway Coalition, Co-Chair of its Land Use and Transportation Committee, a resident of the Prospect Park Neighborhood in Minneapolis, and a past and founding board member of Transit for Livable Communities.
Robert Corrick is a member of the Southwest Light Rail Transit Project Advisory Committee representing the Midtown Community Works Partnership.He is a resident of the Cedar Isles Dean Neighborhood in Minneapolis, and former President of the Midtown Greenway Coalition.
